Welcome to Sitka Alaska Fishing Adventures

If you are looking for the most exciting fishing adventure possible and want to enjoy the great diversity of Alaska scenery, come join us for an unforgettable experience to share with your friends or family.

Five kinds of Pacific salmon roam the waters of Alaska in their journey from the clear blue Pacific, to the pristine clean Alaskan wild rivers and streams in which they spawn.

Sitka Alaska Fishing Adventures will help you land King Salmon (also known as Chinook), Silver Salmon (also called Coho) and Sockeye Salmon.

Our New Boat the "Otter 36"!

The Otter was designed with the serious fisherman in mind, our twin turbo-diesel engine, 36-foot Otter has the ability to get you to the best Southeast Alaska fishing in a hurry.

Our trips are designed to be true, hands-on experiences. You can be as much a part of the action as you wish from operating the downriggers, vacuum packing and freezing fish, pulling crab pots, or just taking pictures of the unforgettable scenery.

For day trips, arrangements can be made for hotel rooms in Sitka. For overnight trips up to five nights, the Otter has up to four bunks inside the main cabin and a shower/head facility.

Reviews

Dear Bill,
I just wanted to thank you very much for an incredible trip as that was the best vacation I had in quite some time.

In addition to running a tight ship, you sure know your way around the galley with a few simple but great recipes. Let me know when you are going to start booking for next year, as I would enjoy doing it all over again.

While crabbing up north might be a lot of fun, I thought overall that the diversity of fish that we caught was excellent. I think what made the trip so fun was catching both the silvers and reds on light tackle, as I don't think it gets better than that, and we caught about 6 Kings.

Dear Bill,
Just wanted to send you my appreciation for the outstanding fishing trip you provided this July.

I have fished in Alaska, including Sitka, for approximately a dozen years and thought I had pretty much seen all there was to offer. I had even fished Sitka seven times. I knew prize Chinook season was in June so my expectations were not that high for a successful trip in July.

Spending time with you on the “Otter” totally changed my preconceptions of fishing in Alaska. I saw inlets and fishing grounds I had never seen before and probably never would have if I had not been on your boat. Docking at night in a hidden inlet along the Alaska shoreline was spectacular.

Enjoying the meal on the back deck of the boat and not seeing another boat nearby made me feel I was truly enjoying the untouched part of Alaska. The morning we woke up, stepped on the deck and saw a whale was spouting a few hundred yards to the north of us was breathtaking.

The eagles were plentiful, the sea otters as well, but to my surprise, my two companions and I, for the three days, caught our limit in Chinook salmon, ranging in size from 25 to 30 pounds. I stopped counting the number of Coho we caught and released. The halibut was a bonus. AS for the accommodations, I found the boat totally spacious for four adult men.

Once again, thank you for this special adventure. I would like to do it again. I recommend it to anyone who is a true fisherman.

Sincerely, Jan Christopherson

Spectacular Unforgettable Scenery

Besides the great fishing, you will most likely see Orca and humpback whales, sea lions, otters, bears and many bald eagles.
